FAQ

  • What if I lose my helmet?
    Don't worry! Just stay safe until you can return the bike to us or come for a replacement helmet. Hawaii Law does not require that you wear a helmet, however our company strongly encourages it for your safety and are happy to provide them to you free of charge.
  • What are your business hours?
    Our business hours are 8am-5pm HST 7 days a week! Pick-up and drop-off may be available after hours. Please contact us for more information.
  • How do I keep the bike safe and secure when parking?
    You will be provided with a lock and chain to keep your moped safe while parked.
  • What do I do if my bike won't start?
    Don't panic! Follow the steps below to solve most issues. Put the keys in the ignition. Turn the key to turn the battery on. Check to see if the fuel gauge rises. Flip the kill switch (red button) Hold the left back brake into place. Flick the yellow button (underneath the kill switch) to on. If the bike still does not turn on, it's possible that the fuel gauge may be broken. Please use your keys to open the fuel gauge towards the back of the bike and manually check to see if there is gas in the tank (you'll be able to see this fairly easily just by looking If there is gas, please leave the bike to sit for 20 minutes, if possible. Then try to start the bike again. If after 20 minutes the bike still hasn't started, and you've completed the steps above, we will be happy to bring you a replacement bike.
  • Where can I drive my moped?
    You are permitted to ride your Moped on most city streets and on highways that will take you all the way around the island. Mopeds may not go on freeways or on the 2 main mountain roads known as Likelike Highway or Pali Highway.
  • What if I lose the keys?
    If you pickup a new set, there will be a $20 fee for lost keys. In the event that we have to bring you a new set, there will be a small fee for time and distance traveled.
  • Do you accept foreign Drivers License's?
    Yes we do!
  • What equipment do you provide?
    All of our mopeds are accompanied with a helmet for your safety, as well as a bike and chain lock. We also provide maps and suggested routes for your trip around island.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours in advance. We cannot offer refunds within 24 hours of your booking due to high demand.
  • Can I change or cancel my reservation?

  • Can I park the moped on the sidewalk?
    No, you're not permitted to park the moped on the sidewalk.
  • What if I've never rode a moped before?
    No problem! As long as you are at least 18 years of age we are happy to provide you with a lesson free of charge. Just let one of our team members know and we will be happy to help!
  • Why do I need to pay a deposit?
    A deposit covers you for damages that may incur at your own fault. Upon return of the moped, it will be inspected for damages and to ensure a full tank of gas. You will then receive a refund and it will be returned to you with 3-10 business days.
  • Do you offer refunds due to inclement weather?
    No, unfortunately we do not offer refunds due to weather.
  • Do you offer any discounts?
    Yes! You will receive a 20% discount upon booking a daily rate.
  • What do I do if I've been in an accident?
    Pull over and make sure everyone is safe first and foremost. If there is a medical emergency or emergency otherwise (more than a fender bender) please contact 911 right away. Call us at 808-444-3442. If there is no answer please feel free to text us. We will assist you with the next steps.
  • Where do we park the mopeds?
    A lot of hotels in Honolulu offer free parking for mopeds. Please ask the front desk for more information. When you do need to park outside please park near something you may lock your rental to, such as a pole.
  • Do I have to put gas in the moped?
    Yes, the moped will be given to you with a full tank of Premium gasoline. You will be required to fill the tank with premium gasoline before returning. You are subject to a fee if you do not.
  • What if I miss my reservation or if I'm late?
    We are happy to reschedule you whenever there is a bike available for you to use. We unfortunately do not offer refunds within the 24 hour period of your booking.
  • How much is the deposit?
    The deposit rate varies on whether or not you purchase Limited Damage Coverage (LDC) Purchase is optional, but recommended. Deposit ranges from $150-$500 with purchase of LDC. A deposit is a temporary hold on your card that will be released back to you upon return of the moped. The temporary hold is $750 if you choose not to purchase coverage.
